Welcoming the Cool Breeze

Okay, so we are finally feeling Fall weather here in Los Angeles and I'm sooo relieved! Pulling out this vintage blazer in the morning was a breath of fresh air. I can finally leave most of my boring summer clothes tucked down in my drawers and whip out the layers!

And I am SUPER excited to watch the new season of The Hills and The City tonight. I love love love reality television. It's totally pointless, but so addicting. Though I don't think I will be too excited to see Spencer's skin colored beard again ha!

I always love looking at their pictures on their site for inspiration, so I was super surprised to see that they did a post on me! Very cool, thanks whoever did that :)

Comme Des Garcons Weekend

This is what I wore over the weekend hanging with a good friend around my house. I'm currently really into this Comme Des Garcons vest. If you look closely, you can see the really pretty flowers designed on it. It's grungy with torn, rough edges (my favorite). It's green color is perfect for Fall. I wish I could show a pic of the back, it's so cool (short and torn on one side).This is my only piece from Comme Des Garcons and I am totally in love with the whole Japanese feel going on with all their designs. The first thing my mom said when she saw me was "what are you wearing?" Hahaha. But, I guess that's something you'll get when you wear Comme Des Garcons, aren't all their pieces a little strange? But I love it!

Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party

Last night I went to the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party so I pulled out my favorite party dress, this amazing piece by the designers of Whitley Kros. I'm in love with the bold print!

The party was held at Milk Studios and began with a D&G runway show. It took forever for everyone to get seated so I was happy when the show finally started. I really liked some pieces in the collection, like the little strapless frocks and old vintage looking prints. Here are some pictures of the show:







Lisa Love, west coast editor! Amy Astley was there too, but didn't get to snap a picture! They are both incredibly stylish women, love Lisa's sequined tux outfit.







We spent the rest of the night dancing to beats that Kelly Osbourne and her friend were playing. So much fun! A lot of Nickelodeon/ Disney kids were dancing in our cirlce too (not surprising haha)! There were definitely some celebrity sightings, like Taylor Lautner (the cover boy) was there, tons of television stars with recognizable faces, and lots of hip girls and guys that you've probably seen on the cobrasnake!

English band, The Noisettes, played and they were SO GOOD and full of energy! The lead singer had an amazing voice. I am now in love with their music. You should look them up, you'll be hooked!

I thought the Teen Vogue party I went to 2 years ago was fun, but last nights definitely topped it. Teen Vogue never fails to have great parties :)

Fall is here!

Today, I decided to pull out this amazing vintage blouse I bought about a year ago. I love how unique it is! It's more of a crop top on me so I paired it with my favorite high- waisted jeans. And guess what?! Fall is FINALLY here! But the weather still leaves me thinking it's summer. I'm feeling optimistic though that things will be cooling down very shortly!

I hope everyone has been having an awesome week. I've been keeping busy shooting and driving all over town. But I love checking in here and reading all the lovely comments you guys have been leaving me! I'm glad people are interested in my blog and finding a little inspiration here and there! :)

In The Jungle, The Mighty Jungle

So the San Diego Zoo was so gorgeous, so green! The weather down there was beautiful too, mid-70's, perfect for a day outdoors. Decided to throw on this sheer vintage blouse and some sandals to keep cool while walking up, down, and everywhere in the park. Looking at the animals lazing around all day made me incredibly sleepy. I managed to take tons of pics though, and here are a few of my favorites. how cute is the koala bear?
