I've been living in this Storets cut-out dress on and off for the past week! It's just so easy to wear and I love the sheer back and zipper detail. Just one of those go-to pieces you always feel comfortable in. Plus, it's got major side pockets to throw in the crackberry lol.

So this past week was so much fun! I finished up shooting for Joe's Jeans. Besides shooting web product, we also did a whole editorial type shoot for the Holiday 2010 collection and I cannot wait till it's out. From what I've seen, the images look great! And I got to wear their new jegging skinny jeans which are insane... I WANT.

Between shooting, I also got to go to the Warner Bros Studios event for the LA Screenings. It was the craziest event I've ever been to. I'm guessing a lot, a lot of money went into it. It was pretty much an entire circus in the Stars Hallow (Gilmore Girls) set. You could go into any little studio around the set, and there would either be food, candy, or really loud music. I had the best time with one of my good model friends, Kristen! We also met up with Kelly Cutrone. I swear she is a lot cooler than how she appears on TV. Overall, I had an awesome week and look forward to just relaxing this Memorial Day weekend. Have a great holiday weekend everyone! :)

London brings me KISAMI

Remember how I mentioned the new label Kisami that took a spot on my sidebar? Well, here I am wearing one of their "Cherie Dress." At the moment, I love anything cream colored and lightweight...especially with the warm weather we've been getting recently. The dress has a whimsical vibe with the soft floaty sleeves, slight shimmer, and loose fit. Kisami, the designer label hailing from London, makes some of the most amazing dresses. All I can say is, why are Brits so cool?!
Speaking of which, I just saw one of Robert Pattinson's first films...How to Be. I actually enjoyed seeing him in a film where he isn't drenched in nasty white face paint and bright red lipstick (why Twilight why?). The film was shot in a really cool way, shaky at times and just really raw. It was nice seeing Rob as an awkward depressed guy... it actually showed a bit of his acting chops! Just watch it if you're an RPatz fan haha. But after seeing New Moon, I'm beginning to lean towards Team Jacob. Have you seen him with his shirt off? He's definitely not my type, but come on, you have to admit, he looked beeeeyootiful.

Summer Secrets

I'm on the homepage of StyleSofia! Weeeee! I'm wearing their Tulip Scallop Skirt, Camel Vest, and Champagne Tank. It has the whole Chloe color scheme that I love this time of year. I wore this skirt out yesterday and got some curious stares. I guess a lot of people are intrigued by skirts with scallops on them?! Eehh, my dad called me a pixie haha. Anyways, we had some really beautiful light this past week, perfect for snapping some photos for StyleSofia. I'm surprised at how soft the photos came out. Just the right feel for the clothes.

Looking back, I had a really nice week. I actually got to meet up with 1/2 of the designer team behind Stylestalker, Miss Rachel Zeilic. She randomly told me she'd be in LA for a few days. She is so sweet and so much fun. We had some great laughs! My sister and I drove her around the west side and stopped for In-n-Out burger and Diddy Reese. If you come to LA, you HAVE to have this combo lol. It's the best thing ever. Now I'm looking forward to work and shooting with one of my favorite clients, Joe's Jeans. I'll keep you posted!

But to continue on with my randomness today... have you seen this old Prada campaign video?

Apparently it's quite old, but I am still in love with this of Daria Werbowy for Prada. Watching her play different characters is so refreshing and new. She has the versatility to come across as different women, embodying different personalities. And I loved the dialogue so much... not to mention the movement in the beautiful frocks! Is there anything Daria can't do?!

A lot of people have requested to see some of my work. So here are a few shots of me taken by photographer Collin Stark. I love his work, always very raw and natural. It's no wonder his clients are Mick Jagger and other rockstar celebrities! Here we did a very simple studio shoot with nothing but natural light, worn in basic clothing, and a combo of my jewelry as well as the amazing silver pieces designed by his girlfriend. These are my favorite types of shoots. Less makeup, the better. I'm really pleased with the result!

Still Tomboy

Top: bought in Malaysia, Shorts: Forever 21, Combats: Vintage

There is nothing better than a loose, comfortable, tomboy outfit. These boots are my favorite. They're pretty badass if I say so myself. They remind of me the creepy man hiking boots I loved wearing as a kid. Have I mentioned that I was THE biggest tomboy growing up?! I was the scrawny brat in baggy denim on denim who could kick anyone's butt on the tether ball court. Well, I guess there's still a little bit of that girl in me. But now, I don't mind letting my hair loose and swiping on some red lipstick!

And I've been browsing the web and came across some really cool images. Beauty combined with a tough, boyish edge.

Korean Cool

Blouse and Jacket: Storets.com, Trouser: Bebe, Shoes: Bally

I have heard nothing but good things about Korean made clothing. They're always unique, a little bit quirky, and are of great quality. Korean online store, Storets.com, is a perfect example. They've got some really cool pieces designed for everyday wear. This blouse is totally my style: anything sheer, polka-dots, and with a loose fit I'm all for. And I love how this jacket is sort of a remake of the Rick Owens one that I've been eying recently, but obviously a lot more affordable and wearable! This line really makes me want to take a trip to Korea so badly! One of my best friends recently went there and said the fashion was insane! I'm keeping that place in mind for my next travel destination for sure.

Also, check out the new label that's taken a spot on my sidebar! Kisami, based in the UK, really impressed me with their ability to create feminine, flowy clothes that still has an edge to them. It is super high-end chic but at really great prices. Their stuff is like a combination of Chloe and Miu Miu. Sounds tasty eh? Check out their store and facebook page for amazing discounts!

And guess what?!, I'm back to spending more time on the guitar. Maybe there will be a new video post coming soon? And I've got an exciting fashion collaboration that I'll be working on! Busy busy busy. But stay tuned!
