Blouse: Vintage Saks 5th, Shorts: Vintage Versace, Shoes: Stefane Kelian

So I'm pretty much a Red Bean Popsicle junkie. After my recent travels through South-East Asia, I can eat anything stuffed with red bean. Now that I'm back home, I have to resort to Chinatown and the cute ladies in the bakery downtown who can memorize your order way before packing it, even if you say "minus 3 of those buns, plus 4 of those...scratch that, 2 of THOSE." I don't know how they do it! But this sweet treat totally beats out the "bear claws" over at the bakery. It's so refreshing especially during these past few days which have been incredibly warm. Due to the weather, I've been living in these denim shorts nearly everyday. Gross, I know. These just happen to be lying by my bed so instantly I put them on every morning. I recently bought a few new vintage button-ups (I know, I need to stop collecting), and this is one of them! Anyways, I hear there is some rain coming, though it doesn't look it...hmm, maybe it's time to wash the shorts anyways!

Skirt and Amethyst Ring: Obey, Blouse: Vintage

I was fortunate enough to shoot the OBEY clothing Summer 2010 Collection. I had a blast working with their team, definitely some of the chillest people you'll ever meet over in the OC! There were were so many great graphic prints and hip looks on the racks I nearly fainted. And I think the popping bright colors of the shoot really pulled it all together. Recently, I've been sporting the Obey Black Mountain Skirt along with their Amethyst Ring. I'm super happy with both pieces. A little studded detail and some stone goes a long way. And who needs shoes on a day hanging out when the weather has become so beautiful?! My weekend has been super laid back so far. . . lots of reading with my legs stretched out beneath the sun. I hope everyone's weekend is just as relaxing!

Enjoy the Little Things

With the earthquakes, erupting volcano, and economic recession, I'm beginning to sense an end of the world, "2012 the movie", vibe. Just kidding. But in times like these, I look to the days where livin is easy. A comforting All-American day. . . whether it be surfing on a cloudy morning, riding your bike inside the house, sitting on the hood of your car, or just hanging with your buds. . . enjoy the little things.

    Dress: Stylestalker

Stylestalker has once again wowed me with their newest collection. I'm currently in love the new Conspiracy dress! Black sheerness and a fitted body defines the perfect dress for me. The one shoulder detail shows just the right amount of skin. It's so freakin sexy! This dress reminds me so much of Alexander Wang and Erin Wasson (King and Queen of Cool), it makes my head spin! It's a total party dress, but I love it during the day with nothing but my mens combat boots and grandpa socks! High and Low does the body good. I feel lucky to have some Australian goodness in my closet! Thank You StyleStalker! :)

    Dress: Ramona West Vintage

So I was scouring the magazine racks and was really inspired by the pages of Lula, Pop, and Bazaar. The light and airy photography for Spring was so beautiful. I tried my best to remake some of those images in my own backyard! There was a bit of wind and clouds today. The combo created just the right feel and lighting. I wanted to capture the romantic feel of a sheer dress paired with pastel knee highs. And so what if your lace undies can sort of be seen lol? This vintage piece was sent to me from Ramona West Vintage and I couldn't be happier. It's got the soft vibe I crave for in the Spring.

I feel like I haven't posted in forever! I was away, up in Berkeley with friends. I love it up there, so pretty and so many things to do. We drove the whole way, took the train to San Francisco, then spent a day along the Sonoma Coast. I can see why everyone wanted to go to school up there! Can't wait for my next trip up North!

Here's a collection of photos I just love! ENJOY!

Tee: Alchemic, Trousers: Kimchi&Blue, Shoes: Via Spiga, Bag: Bally

I'm toting around this gorgeous new Bally bag for work. It's so much more convenient and lightweight than the bags I've carried before. I'm happy I won't become a total hunchback and can still have everything I need at the tips of my fingers! I've been trying to steer clear of the It-Bag every celebrity carries for a while. This one is total understated luxury and I'm in love with it. A luxurious piece along with my oldest, most worn-in tee and super loose trousers creates a balance I live for. I think I've found my new uniform, no?

Blazer: Promod, Tank: StyleSofia, Trousers: Zara, Flats: J.Crew

This week I took a trip to the fabulous LAS VEGAS! I love walking through the glamorous hotels and admiring all the high-end designer stores. And having a nice buffet once in a while won't do you any harm hehe! Vegas is in the middle of the desert, so I brought along a strong shouldered blazer to shield myself from the chilly winds. Paired it with my StyleSofia Champagne Tank Top and the softest, most comfortable trousers ever made. Beige with black is my new favorite combination.
Shopping is huge in Vegas and my main mission was to find a perfect bag, big enough to put all the little things I carry around everyday. The small shoulder bags I usually wear just aren't cutting it! So I lucked out and bought a beautiful Bally bag in the softest leather! Will show it to you next time! But for now, have an awesome weekend everyone and a great Easter!
