With summer just around the corner, I'm leaning toward more boho inspired pieces. I just received this gorgeous crochet vest as a gift from White + Warren and I'm obsessed! I love the long knitted back. Looks best with just a simple top, my favorite flares, and a really deep red lip. These lovely photos were taken by one of my very good friends and one of the most gorgeous bloggers, Raych of That's Chic! Because I'm leaving for work in NYC, she gave me this adorable green friendship bracelet. How sweet is that? I plan on giving her one equally as awesome! I'm also lusting for a lens like the one she uses. The photos came out so dreamy! This day we stopped at a friend's barbeque for lunch, went shopping in Santa Monica in the afternoon, and ended our day together at a dinner party. Let's just say we were completely party pooped by the end of the day! More photos of Raych and I together to come! xx
Adding Some Flare
(Pixie Knit Wear sweater, Rue De Jeans, Chanel bag, Vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses)
I wore this to a meeting recently and I am obsessed with these jeans! The high waist with a flare totally elongates the body. Flares used to scare me, but this dark gray pair is a modern take on the 60's style. Paired them with a cropped knit sweater and my favorite shades. I cannot stop wearing these vintage Ray-bans that my mom picked up for me one weekend at a vintage boutique. I wonder if they still sell this smaller shape?
Anyways, this week has been SO HECTIC! I am in the midst of moving to NYC for work and of course working on some really exciting projects at the same time. All I know is that I will be flying back and forth from NYC to LA and vice versa quite a lot. Gotta get used to the 6 hour flight hehe! One thing though I'm beyond excited about being able to work in NYC, is how much closer I am to Dylana! So crazy how things work out! We will both be east coasting it from now on!!

Knocksteady TV Video Interview
I recently did a video interview for Knocksteady TV, hosted by the adorable Angela of the fashion site, Benches and Chandeliers. I felt very comfortable having her interview me in my home! The whole Knocksteady.com crew was so sweet! They followed me around these past few months, documenting a bit of my journey as a model and a blogger. It is a little sneak peek into my life, covering details to the current and future projects I am working on! Enjoy!

A Sunday in the South of Philly!
With my sister Dylana!
(Vintage dress, Mango leather jacket/scarf/bag, Vintage boots)
Always wearing these vintage RayBans!
On the way to the Italian Festival!!
Bumped into a vintage garage sale! Dylana scored this coat for $20!
It was crazy busy at the Italian market. Loud thumping music and lots and lots of food! LOVED IT!
Spinach pizza at Lorenzos!
It got sooo hot! Had to grab some iced tea :)
I LOVE KIM!
Kangaroo? Turtle? YUM
HAHA. pigs.
HAHA. pigs.
(a mix of photos by me and Kim)
Our new Philadelphia friend, the adorable and oh so stylish Kim, took Dylana and I took us down to the south of Philly for a visit to the Italian Festival which happens only once a year. I'm so happy that it happened to be occurring the weekend I was there. It was like a massive street party. There were people EVERYWHERE and the DJ was playing really awesome loud music. I just wanted to get up and dance! There were numerous street vendors selling fresh fruit, any poultry you want (did i tell you about kangaroo?!), and booze (lots of booze). I fell in love with the little mom n pop shops. During our walk there, we even stumbled upon a cute vintage garage sale. Dylana picked up that amazing leopard coat. As for the weather, the sun was out for the first time that weekend and it was humid. It left us craving iced tea and large slices of pizza! Ended our evening thrift shopping in the charming Old City before heading back to Kim's for a night of burgers, beers, and lots of laughter. There really couldn't have been a better way to spend a Sunday in Philadelphia!

Smart Dressing: Red on Red
(Vintage blazer, White + Warren blouse, By Corpus shorts, Chanel bag, Bronx shoes, Vintage Rayban sunglasses)
Right now I am very into the masculine, tailored look for spring. This is my definition of smart dressing. This day I went with red on red, one of my favorite combinations. It is very classic and put-together. Here I am back home in LA, but I see myself wearing this on the streets of NYC as well. I feel a wool blazer and silk button up is such perfect street style for any city. I love how the scarlet red hue just pops! I also went with my favorite Chanel bag. I love the supple quilted leather and large silver chains. It screams heavy duty yet I try to wear this bag only on special occasions. I'd hate to destroy this baby by wearing it too much!
